What's your favorite part about teaching AVLI courses?

I enjoy connecting and interacting with students from across the United States (and sometimes abroad). The AVLI experience allows for students to share environmental issues from around their part of the country. This sparks great conversation and allows for making connections to specific issues that are presented in the AP curriculum.

What advice would you give to students considering taking an AVLI course or their parents?

If your current school is limited in its curriculum or if you have limitations in your schedule, AVLI provides a great opportunity to expose yourself to topics that you may be interested in.
