About the course

In this course, participants will learn 'how to' use the Flipgrid tool and will gain the skill to implement what they have created into the online learning management system available to them at their school. Flipgrid provides teachers and students with an online meeting place where discussion, course content, and easily created and accessed video fosters social engagement. Participants will complete the course having created practical and applicable discipline-specific online content. This is an open-enrollment course. Participants have one month from start to completion, at their convenience.| JUST-IN-TIME courses are asynchronous, allowing participants to take courses when convenient, according to their individual schedules. The courses are experiential, allowing teachers to understand how course concepts will work from both the student’s and teacher's perspective. While designed for the individual, participants are not alone. An AVLI team member will guide each participant through designing, creating, editing, and completing course content through focused backwards design methodologies.
