AI IN CATHOLIC EDUCATION: Session I
How do we approach AI in our classrooms?
September 27 @ 4pm ET/3pm CT/2pm MT/1pm PT
Educators everywhere are concerned about the impact that AI tools like ChatGPT will have in the classroom. While some are concerned with how to regulate, control or even ban these tools, others see them as an opportunity for instructional design, pedagogy and even Mission. We invite you to join our panelists, Elaine Ayers, Faculty of English at Creighton Preparatory, and Brian Tittl, Theology Department Head at St. John's Jesuit and AVLI Director of Administrative Technology, for a conversation about the distinct approaches that teachers can take towards AI in the classroom that ensure authentic learning in the context of Mission-based schools.
Moderator: David Martino, AVLI Director of Partnerships, Design and Professional Development
