October 11 @ 4pm ET/3pm CT/2pm MT/1pm PT

How do we approach AI Policies in our Schools?

As recently as September 17th, 2023, Forbes Magazine published a story entitled, “Lack of Policy Regarding Generative AI Use In Schools Places Students At Risk.” Citing a UNESCO press release, Forbes goes on to discuss how the “education sector is largely unprepared for the ethical and pedagogical integration of generative AI tools in schools.”

Join our panelists to discuss actionable insights on approaching AI Policies. Speaking from their own experiences of engaging the development of AI Policies in their respective contexts, the discussion will touch on both the pedagogical (teaching & learning) and governance (privacy & accountability) dimensions of AI Policy development within Catholic schools.

PANELISTS
Ms. Annabel Dotzman, Associate Director of Educational Technology, Office of Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Philadelphia,
Mr. Ryan Bromwell, Assistant Principal of Academics at Loyola Blakefield
Mr. Matthew Jordan, Director of Faculty Development at Belen Jesuit
