Students must also have access to a TI-84 Calculator. AP Calculus BC will cover all of the topics associated with AP Calculus AB including limits & continuity, differentiation, integration, and graphical analysis. Additional Calculus BC topics include convergence tests for series, Taylor and/or Maclaurin series, parametric equations, polar functions, L'Hôpital's rule, integration by parts, improper integrals, Euler's method, differential equations for logistic growth, and using partial fractions to integrate rational functions. This course requires weekly engagement but is primarily asynchronous which allows students to work around their school schedule. There is a required student-instructor check-in each week, which most students accomplish through attending the weekly synchronous meeting over Zoom. Meeting times to be determined at the beginning of the term.
