MEET YOUR TEACHER
Mr. dos Santos
Mr. dos Santos is a cultural historian by trade, receiving his BA from New York University and MA and M.Phil from Columbia University. His specialization is in Modern Western European colonial ideology. It is, perhaps, not the most captivating topic for most people, but over the course of his 24-year career, it has allowed him to branch out into other subjects such as world languages, literature, and theology. Mr. dos Santos served as an instructor and academic dean at a small Catholic high school in Fall River, Massachusetts for 21 years, moving into online teaching to care for his medically complex son. He is a native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, where he lives with my wife, two sons, and a pet conure. Whether it be analyzing comic book superheroes or mastering verb conjugations, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge with students and learning more about the world from our intellectual interaction.
