Purpose and Description

Description: With the increasing ubiquity of AI tools and the temptation this offers students for shortcuts and the pursuit of the "easy way out", we are seeking to develop strategies to help encourage students to embrace the fact that struggle is actually essential to the learning process. This 3-day retreat style professional development experience will involve discussions, workshops, and presentations focusing on how we can use intentional instructional design to build a classroom culture where challenges are meaningful and met with excitement and determination.
